ABSN has empowered hundreds of women and families through short courses in project management, workshops in computers, tailoring, weaving and crafts. Quran, Arabic language and other religious classes are catered for their needs all over Kenya. They are encouraged to participate in exhibitions to promote their goods. ABSN helps in securing a stall and paying for it to display their goods. After tailoring classes, those who have passed their exams, are gifted with sewing machines and a starter kit to help them start their own business.
For crochet and knitting they are gifted with threads. Those who have excelled in their field are encouraged to teach others. Some places have now become independent and take orders for school uniforms and other clothing.
